These little delights are super simple to make. I have been making them for our little Lucy-Belle who is 12 months old, and I enjoy them as a snack or a quick lunch served with salad. They’re a great snack to take to work, or for after the gym.
- 1/2 cup cooked quinoa
- 1/2 cup grated zucchini
- 1/2 cup grated cheese
- 6 beaten eggs
- Combine all ingredients, mix well, and pour into individual patty cake cases which have been placed in a muffin tray.
- Bake in the oven 180 degrees Celsius for 20 minutes.

For Mumma
It’s important to stay nourished when you’re a busy mum. Cook once and feed the both of you!
Serve two of these with a side salad for your lunch while Bub nibbles away to their heart’s content.
For Baby
Blend the cooked cups (remove the paper wrapping) with a little water, milk, breast milk or formula to create a purée. Babies can have eggs from 6 months, try the yolk first and if baby seems ok with this, whole eggs are fine.
*Be sure to remove the paper wrapping before serving to baby.
